Rapeseed (Canola) flowers from the second half of April to early June and is, in many regions, the most important spring major flow. It provides large amounts of nectar and pollen at the same time and can fill a strong colony within just a few days. Its honey is very light to pure white, mild and sweet with a slight cabbage flavour. Because of its high glucose content it crystallises very quickly, often already in the comb. It must therefore be harvested promptly and then stirred thoroughly afterwards.
