Scan at the hive instead of searching
Scrolling through a list of forty colonies with gloves on is no fun at the apiary. With an APITag on the lid you hold your phone to the hive and the app opens exactly that colony – hive record, last inspection and everything that belongs to it.
The tag works on the metal lid, where ordinary NFC stickers stay silent, and carries its number in print. If somebody else scans it without the app, they do not see your records but whatever you set for that case.
