Dandelion
Taraxacum officinale
- Blütezeit
- April–May
- Nektar
- gut
- Pollen
- sehr gut
The Dandelion flowers from April into June and is one of the most important spring flows of all. Its pollen supply is rated very rich, its nectar supply rich, and the bees come home visibly dusted with colour. The honey is golden-yellow and has a strong, at times sharp aroma; at first it is thick and sticky, then crystallises finely. Admixtures of willow, fruit bloom or rapeseed soften the flavour.
