Oilseed Radish (Fodder Radish) is grown as a catch crop and green manure and, after sowing, flowers in late summer into October. It provides good nectar with a moderate pollen value, exactly in the late-summer gap when colonies are building up their winter bees. In mild weather its bloom extends well into autumn. For autumn provisioning it is a useful arable crop.
