Fennel
Foeniculum vulgare
- Flowering period
- May–August
- Nectar
- sehr gut
- Pollen
- mäßig
Fennel is rated very abundant for nectar, while pollen remains moderate. The flat umbels are openly accessible, so wasps and flies are found on them alongside bees. In the vegetable garden it is worth letting a few plants flower through instead of harvesting all of them.
