Bush Vetch flowers from May to August, starting earlier than most other vetches. The nectar value is good, the pollen value medium. It grows climbing on hedges, forest margins and roadside verges, in both partial shade and sun. For beekeeping it is a typical trickle flow that helps fill the gap between the fruit bloom and the summer flow.
