Hyssop

Hyssopus officinalis

Blütezeit
July–September
Nektar
sehr gut
Pollen
gering

Hyssop flowers from July to September and reaches a very good nectar value with only a low pollen value. It needs sunny, warm, dry, base-rich and rather shallow stony soils and is notably heat-tolerant. Foraging begins in the morning and continues until evening. As a sub-shrub in a bed or on a wall crown it provides nectar exactly in the midsummer forage gap.
