Small-leaved Lime (Winter Lime) flowers from late June to July, about two weeks after the large-leaved lime, and is the most significant summer flow in towns and parks. It pours out good nectar but provides only little pollen. Its honey shimmers greenish and has a strong minty scent because it contains many essential oils. Besides the blossom nectar, lime aphids can additionally produce honeydew, though infestation varies greatly from year to year.
