Common Mallow flowers from June to September along roadsides, on fallow ground and in cottage gardens. The nectar value is good, the pollen value low. It is undemanding, grows on nutrient-rich soils and flowers on until the first frost. The large, sticky pollen sticks well to the bees and is easy to spot on their pollen loads.
