Meadow Crane's-bill flowers from May to August in lush meadows, along roadside verges and embankments. Both nectar and pollen value are rated medium. It needs fresh, nutrient-rich loam soils and holds up even with one or two cuts a year. Because it forms large stands, it is a solid trickle flow in extensively managed grassland.
