Common Knapweed flowers from June into October and is one of the most important ongoing flows in extensive grassland. The nectar value is good, the pollen value medium. It grows on moderately nutrient-rich meadows, roadside verges and embankments and regrows after mowing. For the apiary it is a stable trickle flow over months.
