White bedstraw flowers from May to September and provides only small quantities of nectar and pollen. It is a perennial of meadows, woodland edges and hedges and often forms dense white veils. The individual flowers are tiny, but stand together in very large numbers. Over large areas it therefore supplements the summer offering.
