From April into October, white dead-nettle flowers along roadsides, fences, and farmyard edges. The nectar is considered a moderate and the pollen a low supply. The nectar lies deep in the long corolla tube, which is why bumblebees cope much better here than honey bees; bees often use the holes bitten by bumblebees at the base of the flower. British measurements give around 1.0 milligrams of sugar per flower per day, around 18,873 pollen grains per flower and a nectar yield of around 1,198 kilograms of sugar per hectare per year.
