White stonecrop flowers from June to September on wall tops, gravel roofs, and in rock gardens. The nectar value is medium, the pollen value good. It needs warm, dry sandy and stony soils low in humus and fine soil and survives even longer periods of heat without water. For urban sites with green roofs it is one of the few forage plants that still provides something on sealed surfaces in high summer.
