Sweet Woodruff flowers from April to June in open deciduous woodland and provides only small amounts of nectar and pollen. It is therefore not suited as a flow, and its contribution stays modest. In beech forests, however, it stands over wide areas and supplements the spring supply. Its scent only develops as it wilts.
