Rose of Sharon
Hibiscus syriacus
- Blütezeit
- June–September
- Nektar
- gering
- Pollen
- gut
Rose of Sharon flowers from June to September, each individual flower for only one day. It provides little nectar but good pollen; the coarse grains remain visibly stuck to the bees' bodies. Single-flowered varieties with an open centre are worked, double-flowered ones are not.
