The Service Tree is rated very good for nectar and very good to medium for pollen, and it flowers after the fruit blossom. It has become rare and grows mainly in traditional orchards and along the edges of vineyards in southern Germany. Where old trees stand, they are individual, large crowns, with correspondingly short but intense foraging days.
