The Service Tree is rated very good for nectar and very good to medium for pollen, and it flowers after the fruit bloom. It has become rare and stands mainly in traditional orchards and vineyard margins of southern Germany. Where old trees stand, they are individual, large crowns, with correspondingly short but intense foraging days.
