The Snowberry flowers from June to September with small, inconspicuous pink flowers that keep replenishing nectar. The nectar value is good, the pollen value low. It is completely undemanding, grows in urban greenery, along railway embankments and in hedges, and is also heavily worked by hoverflies. Its strength is the long flowering period that provides in the summer gap between lime and autumn bloomers.
