The Quince flowers in May and June, thus at the end of the fruit bloom. It provides good nectar and good pollen and closes the gap once cherry, plum and apple are finished. Its large single flowers are gladly visited. In gardens it usually stands alone, but for small apiaries it is still a useful addition.
