The Amur cork tree flowers in June and July and provides moderate nectar with a moderate pollen value. It is a tree from East Asia, grows fifteen to twenty-five metres tall and in our region stands in parks and arboreta. Its thick, corky bark gives it its name. As a late-flowering tree it is a welcome addition in early summer.
