Cherry Laurel flowers in May with upright white racemes; nectar and pollen are both rated moderate. Because it commonly stands as a hedge plant in settlements in large numbers, more adds up in total than the rating would suggest. Trimmed hedges, however, hardly flower at all; what matters is whether the cut falls before or after flowering.
