Catmint
Nepeta cataria

- June–September
- Nektar

True Catmint flowers from June to September and provides medium to good nectar but only little pollen. It needs sunny, rather dry sites and, after being cut back, flowers again. Foraging continues throughout the whole flowering period and is stable even in drought. This makes it one of the most practical perennials for bridging the summer gap at the apiary.
