Currant
Ribes x spec.
- Blütezeit
- April–May
- Nektar
- mittel
- Pollen
- gering
The Currant flowers in April and May and provides moderate nectar and little pollen in early spring. It depends on insect visits: poorly pollinated clusters remain sparse. In gardens and plantations it is therefore a worthwhile exchange. The blackcurrant is rated somewhat better here than the redcurrant.
