Japanese Pagoda Tree

Styphnolobium japonicum

Blütezeit

The Japanese Pagoda Tree flowers very late, from July to September, and is thus one of the few large trees with a pronounced late flow. The nectar value is very good, the pollen value medium. It is planted as a street and avenue tree and copes well with heat and drought. For beekeeping it is valuable because it provides nectar once lime and summer bloomers have long finished flowering.
