The Raspberry flowers from May to July and is among the best forage plants there is: its nectar supply is rated very rich, its pollen supply rich. At around 46 percent, the nectar is very sugar-rich, and in beekeeping it counts as a valued secondary flow. On forest clearings, cutover areas and forest margins it often stands in large numbers.
