Greek Mountain Tea flowers from June to August with yellowish flowers in densely felted spikes. It grows on stony uplands of Crete and Greece and is drunk there as an infusion. The plant is very hairy and survives heat and drought. Its flowers are readily taken up by honeybees and bumblebees.
