Scentless mayweed flowers from May to September in fields, on fallow land, and along roadsides. It resembles German chamomile but has no scent and has a solid, not hollow, receptacle. It provides hardly any nectar but useful pollen, and because it flowers all summer long, a fair amount comes together. British measurements give around 2,201 pollen grains per flower.
