Spotted Dead-Nettle flowers from April to September and is thus one of the most enduring herbaceous flows there is. Both nectar and pollen value are rated good. It grows on fresh, nutrient-rich, humus-rich loam soils under hedges, along roadsides and in gardens, including in shade. Because of the deep flower tube, mainly long-tongued bees and bumblebees reach the nectar well.
