The Spring Crocus flowers from February to April and is thus among the very first flows of the year. The nectar value is good, the pollen value moderate, and both arrive exactly right on the first warm flying days. It needs fresh, nutrient- and base-rich, humus-rich clay and loam soils and reliably naturalises in lawns. The forage lists explicitly recommend it for its early bloom as a build-up flow.
