Basket of Gold flowers in April and May with dense, bright yellow cushions of flowers on wall tops, rocks and in rock gardens. It comes from south-eastern Europe and is drought-tolerant. It flowers at the time of fruit blossom and is then heavily worked by honeybees and wild bees, because many flowers sit close together.
