Breckland Thyme flowers from June to October and provides good nectar with a moderate pollen value. It is a flat, creeping dwarf shrub only two to ten centimetres tall and grows on poor grassland, embankments and in rock gardens. Full sun and a dry, free-draining soil are important to it. On large areas of poor grassland it makes an aromatic summer flow.
