Strawberry Clover flowers from June to September in saline meadows, trampled grassland and on roadsides. After flowering the calyces inflate, so that the fruiting head looks like a small pink strawberry. It stays low and creeps along the ground. On damp grassland it supplements the clover flow in summer.
