Wall Germander flowers in July and August in pink flower whorls and is very popular with bees and bumblebees. The nectar value is good, the pollen value low to medium. It needs dry to moderately dry, calcareous, sunny sites and forms low, semi-evergreen cushions. In rock gardens, on wall crowns and dry stone walls it provides forage right in the middle of midsummer.
