Black Cumin (Nigella) flowers in June and July and provides good nectar with a moderate to medium pollen value. It is an annual, sown in beds and on flowering areas, and needs sunny, well-drained sites. The flowers open one after another, so the stand keeps providing over several weeks. As a supplementary flow in flower mixes it adds to the supply in early summer.
