Garden Angelica flowers in July and August in large spherical umbels and is then densely worked by bees, wasps and hoverflies. The nectar value is good, the pollen value moderate to medium. It needs damp, nutrient-rich soils and grows over two metres tall. Its value lies in the late bloom and the large flowering area per plant.
