Boxwood (Box) flowers in March and April with inconspicuous greenish flower clusters that are easily overlooked until the foraging can be heard. Nectar and pollen are both rated moderate. In gardens with old hedges, quite a lot still adds up nonetheless, because the area is large and little else is in bloom competing for it at that time.
