The Blackberry flowers from late May into August, closing the gap between the spring and summer flows. It provides plentiful nectar and plentiful pollen and is especially common on forest edges, embankments and fallow ground. Because it flowers on for weeks, it is a reliable ongoing flow rather than a short burst.
