Bluebeard
Caryopteris x clandonensis
- Blütezeit
- August–September
- Nektar

- Pollen
- sehr gut
The Bluebeard flowers in August and September and provides very good nectar and very good pollen. It is a low sub-shrub for sunny, dry, well-drained sites and is cut back every spring. Foraging activity in late summer is exceptionally dense, because little else is in bloom at that time. For building up winter bees it is one of the best garden plants there is.
