The Apple flowers from late April to May and is one of the most important spring flows of all. It provides plenty of nectar and abundant yellowish pollen at the same time, matching exactly the period when colonies expand their brood nest. Conversely, bees are essential for the yield of the orchard. Because the bloom lasts only one to two weeks, the weather decides the harvest.
