Tasks to tackle: check hives for cracks and leaky covers, clean bottom boards, re-wire frames, paint boxes and stands, clean queen excluders, sharpen tools, and tidy up the extracting room.
The apiary site itself is also part of this: cut back vegetation in front of the entrances, firm up paths, secure windbreaks, and anchor the apiary against storms.
