The multiflora rose flowers in June with many small, white flowers in large panicles. It comes from East Asia, is used as a hedge rose and as a rootstock for hybrid roses and escapes easily. Roses provide no nectar, but a great deal of pollen, and because of its mass of flowers it is especially productive among them.
