Gypsywort flowers from July to September in reed beds, at ditch edges and in floodplain forests. Its tiny white flowers sit in dense whorls in the leaf axils and are easily overlooked. They are openly accessible and are visited by honeybees and many small insects. A supplementary forage by the water.
