Sickleweed flowers from July to September on field margins, banks and calcareous gravel. Its leaves are divided into narrow, sickle-shaped curved segments, which makes it easy to recognise. The white umbels are open and are used by honeybees and many wild bees. A typical forage plant of warm field margins.
