Indian mustard flowers from June to August with yellow cruciform flowers and is grown as a catch crop and for mustard production. It comes from Asia, germinates quickly and flowers just a few weeks after sowing. Like all mustard species it provides nectar and plenty of pollen and is an important late-summer forage on catch crop fields.
