The orange tree flowers in April and May with strongly scented white flowers. In the growing areas of Spain, Sicily and California they give rise to the light, very aromatic orange blossom honey, for which many beekeepers migrate. Flowering lasts only a few weeks, but is then very productive. In our region, container plants contribute only symbolically.
