Lily of the Valley flowers in May with strongly scented white bells in open deciduous woodland and gardens. It forms dense stands by means of runners. The flowers hang downwards and are narrow, so mainly bumblebees get inside. The whole plant is poisonous, but this is of no significance for honey. A small minor flow in May.
