Lesser Honeywort flowers from May to July with yellow, cylindrical hanging flowers and bears bluish, bloomy leaves that clasp the stem. It grows on dry meadows, embankments and roadsides in southern Central Europe. The flowers are well filled with nectar and are readily taken up by honeybees and bumblebees.
