The Japanese Crab Apple flowers in April and May, completely covered in pink buds that open white. It comes from East Asia and is planted in front gardens, parks and avenues. It flowers more abundantly than most cultivated apples and is planted in orchards as a pollinator variety. For the colonies it is a very good spring flow.
