The Siberian Peashrub flowers in May with pale yellow pea flowers hanging in clusters from the branches. It comes from Siberia, tolerates cold and poor soils and is planted in windbreak hedges and parks. It is heavily worked and provides a good flow in the period between fruit blossom and black locust.
