Sweet Violet
Viola odorata
- Blütezeit
- March–April
- Nektar

The Sweet Violet flowers in March and April and provides a moderate amount of nectar with a low pollen value. It is a perennial of hedges, parks and gardens and spreads by runners. The nectar sits in the spur; honeybees can reach into the short spur. For the colony it is one of the very first forage plants and therefore worth more than the quantity would suggest.
